A thought that has been running through my brain over the past couple of weeks:

If adolescence has been declared to run through the mid-twenties, why do most student ministry programs stop once teens have graduated high school?

Now, I know a lot of churches offer a college-age ministry, and that a high school graduate (should) learn at  a higher level than a 7th grader, but really, why do we kick teens out the door after high school when their adolescent development is only about halfway done?
