In the Midst of the Whirlwind…
… I sit. Not really. I have successfully made it back into Corry after a great and intense week at The Pittsburgh Project. It truly was a God-appointed trip, and every one of our teens came back touched and challenged to change the world for the Kingdom.
After the services ended Sunday morning (both the 8:15 and the 11:00am), I hopped into our car and drove around 6 hours south to vacation with my family in West Virginia. I got to see Kelly, Abby and Toby for the first time (other than via video on my Blackberry) in nearly 10 days! Last night I slipped into a coma, and my wonderful, amazing wife allowed me to sleep in this morning. I am so refreshed and blessed, you have no idea.
All this to say that I do not expect to post much this week. In fact, I plan on taking advantage of this time by playing with my kids (already played some killer games of mimic with Abigail) and going on at least one date with Kelly. But next week I plan on being back in the saddle again, hitting the ground running. So make sure to check back sometime soon!
And please feel free to check out some of the pictures and videos from our trip on our website.
